LFL2 – Ms. Budhlaeir

  • The LFL2 class have been very busy doing charity work this past term. We have sold Holly Badges again this year for the ISPCC in December from which we received a thank you letter and a certificate of appreciation.
  • In December we hosted the Simon Community Jumper Day in school. Along with the proceeds of a coffee morning ran by the HCT group from LCA2 we donated a cheque totalling 353.00 euro to Niamh Quain from the Simon Community.
  • The LFL2 class have piloted the Level 2 Short Course, Crime Scene Investigation- Exploring Forensic Science this past term. We are learning all about the work of the Crime Scene Investigators and how they gather evidence. We are still working through all the material.
  • The class have thrown themselves into their final year in Scoil Bernadette. We have been focusing this term on building up our literacy  and numeracy skills and to be better citizens in our various communities.
  • As we move into this new term in school the class are getting very excited about the upcoming Debs. Tuxes and dresses have been sought. We are all looking forward to a great night

he students and staff of the LFL2 class were asked by the Simon Community representative Niamh Quain to handwrite personal Christmas cards to the residents of the various shelters and houses for Christmas. We wrote nearly fifty cards while the LCA2 class wrote nearly forty. We were delighted to support such a wonderful cause.
